This week, Blink Publishing took part in one of the biggest book events of the year, The London Book Fair 2016. The London Book Fair (or LBF) is a large book-publishing trade fair held annually, in London.
It was SUPER busy, with exhibitors from over 60 different countries!
Here at Bonnier Publishing we had our own stand, where we got to showcase all of our lovely titles, complete with our very own pic 'n' mix stall...
Some of us went to watch a talk on how to make books trend, whilst others gave a talk! Meet Ben Dunn, our MD (second from the right):
To top it all off, our very own Nick Coveney won the Trailblazer award, for his work creating digital apps to go with our books, including the very successful Pointless Book App. We asked him what he thought of the LBF experience:
"I had a very busy but positive week at the LBF – my week started with the Quantum conference on Monday, back-to-back meetings and a few events as one of the LBF’s TrailBlazer Award winners which was a real honour. It was brilliant to see the great range of Kings Road titles championed fully alongside the other divisions of the Bonnier Publishing family. I kept being told by contacts that we stand out from the crowd and have truly established a reputation for innovative publishing – with bestsellers like Scrapbook of My Life to market-leading licences like Harry Potter Colouring we really do tell #adifferentstory."
